Easter in Ukraine
Пасха в Україні
A village Easter in the second half of the nineteenth century: the congregation has come out of church and eaten, and now sits talking while the young crack dyed eggs against each other in the game of nabytky. The dating varies between sources, with 1883 and 1887 both in circulation, and the related Easter Matins in Ukraine is a separate, later canvas.
